Teversal FC 0-1 Clipstone FC

Wednesday 18th February 2015 - kick off 7:45pm

Venue: Teversal Grange, Carnarvon Street, Teversal, Nottinghamshire

Competition: NCEL1

Referee: Mr. Drew Dutton

Scorer: Dan Wood (4)

Line-ups:

Rubbish is not a word I like to use when writing about a football game -  after all the players don't intend to serve up such poor fayre as they did tonight when they first enter the field of play.  It has to be said though that this was not a good game by any stretch of the imagination - although Clipstone will probably consider it  a job well done, as this result lifts them to third in the table, two points behind the leaders with three games in hand.

The games only goal was scored in the fourth minute, DAN WOOD heading home a cross from the left. Teversal had a golden chance to level on 43 after Mr. Dutton awarded them a penalty when a Tevie player bounced off a Clipstone defender and went down in a heap.

Justice was done when Dave Cockerill hammered the ball against the underside of the crossbar, and the visiting defenders hacked away the loose ball.  H-T 0-1

Another 45 minutes was played. F-T 0-1
