Team sheets
Not been to see Real United this season - what a pitch - absolutely stunning for early May. Well done to whoever looks after it!
The "Stadium" itself has had a bit of a makeover as well - with most areas looking neat and tidy, decked out in the club colours of red and black.
Gedling Town's old ground now looking a treat.
JACK HAVRON gave Eastwood the lead with just 9 played, drilling a 25 yard free-kick low and hard into the corner of the net with United's keeper Ryan Davey a mere onlooker as the ball flew past him. H-T 0-1
It was all square on 53 thanks to a terrific TYRONE BURTON long shot that flew past Adam Fretwell in the visitors' goal. Eastwood were reduced to ten men on 69 when Matt McCaul received a second yellow for a reckless challenge. It got worse for Eastwood with 76 played, when JAWANZA GRANT headed home off the bar after Fretwell had dropped a well taken Burton free-kick.
With 3 to play, Eastwood drew level after a ball in from the right was allowed to travel all the way across the six-yard box by the home defence, leaving ANTHONY WHEATLEY the simplest of close range tap-ins.
I added time, Luke Tozer appeared to catch a prone Eastwood attacker on the head, and although the Referee missed the offence, his eagle-eyed assistant didn't and Tozer was given his second yellow and a penalty awarded. It was over a minute before Havron took the kick, and then he saw his effort saved by Davey. The loose ball was tucked away, but the Referee had seen an infringment and disallowed the effort. F-T 2-2
