The scoreline does not flatter the Sheffield Ladies team - they were just too good in every department for the their hosts. Reds  keeper Vanessa Kinnerley also pulled off four magnificent saves and Jenny Foster cleared one off the line to stave off the embarrassment of a double figure drubbing.

Former Forest defender ELLIE GILLIATT opened the scoring on 11 when her 30 yard speculative effort caught Kinnerley by surprise,  bouncing just in front of the keeper before rolling into the net.

Forest defended well enough for the next 30 minutes or so, but showed no threat of their own - the Shefield defence rarely troubled at all. SUZANNE DAVIES added the away team's second three minutes before the break, turning inside the penalty area and firing a sweet shot arrow straight into the top corner of the goal. H-T 0-2

Kinnerley pulled off the first of her "worldies" on the hour mark, but failed to hold on to Carla Ward's free-kick seconds later, and ABBIE McIVER had the simple task of firing the loose ball into an empty net.

The fourth goal on 69 was somewhat fortuitous, Gilliatt's fiercely driven corner from the right seeming to hit DANIELLE COX and flying over the line.

McIVER hit the Sheffield fifth in the 82nd minute, curling a 25 yard stunner over Kinnerley and into the top corner. McIVER wrapped up the scoring and completed her personal triple with just a few minutes of the game remaining. Forest lost possession in midfield to Billie Murphy and she quickly played the ball wide right to Sophie Barker who fired the ball across the goal to where McIVER was waiting at the far post to tap in. F-T 0-6
